Paris the city of lights!

Why did you enjoy traveling to this destination?

Paris is a beautiful city, with so much to see and do & one of my favorite cites in Europe! The city of Paris is comprised of 19 arrondissements or neighborhoods, each unique and different. It's fun to stroll thru the different neighborhoods, stop at a French cafe & people watch. For sightseeing the most famous sites would be the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, the Champs Elysees , Arc of Triumph & Notre Dame, however Notre Dame is currently closed due to a fire.
The Sacre Couer Basilica in Montmarte, sits at the top of Butte Montmarte, with spectacular views of all of Paris.
This also where the local artists can be found, and you may even go home with a painted portrait or a caricature of yourself.
There also many day trips that can be taken by train from Paris, such as Dijon, Normandy, Champagne region, and many more! Paris is a great food/wine destination!

Best time of year to travel here:

Paris can be visited year round. May to October has the best weather, but also the busiest time to travel. I have always traveled in November, weather is still mild and not as crowded.

What tips can you offer someone interested in traveling to this destination?

When in Paris, always greet the Parisian's with Bonjour which will go along way with the Parisian's. Paris is just such a great walking city, wear comfortable shoes & pack a small umbrella. The Metro is an easy and inexpensive way to see Paris, as well
as the "Hop on Hop" off buses. There is also an abundance of Uber & Lyft drivers, and if you have the App for either, the App's work the same there as here in the US. Also plenty of taxi's but you must go to a taxi stand to get a taxi.

Is this destination best for families, couples, etc?

Paris is great for everyone!
