Koa Kea Hotel and Resort is located on Kauai’s spectacular Po`ipu Beach and was debuted in the year 2009 after a massive reconstruction. Kauai, also known as the Garden Isle, is a 40 minute flight from O`ahu, and is renown for its’ sparkling sandy beaches and tropical greenery. Kauai has been a location for numerous Hollywood films such as Jurassic Park and Six Days Seven Nights by Harrison Ford. Koa Kea Resort has a beautiful design done by a renowned interior decorator by the name Anita Brooks. The design is based on colors of the native flowers and sea life in the area, and captures the essence of true luxury island adventure. The resort itself is very plush whilst retaining some its’ history; many of its’ rock walls and lanai railings are from the original building.

Adventures To Engage in

  • A couple of miles away from the hotel, there’s a Poipu Golfing Course where a number of PGA championships have been held for several years. Here you can play golf while enjoying the spectacular scenery.
  • For those who have a taste for history, you can visit Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation, which was the first sugar plantation in Koloa. You can also check out Spouting Horn with its’ unique sounds and saltwater sprays.
  • If you like water sports, you can visit Snorkel Bob’s which is just a short distance from the resort. Here you can hire equipment for scuba diving, boogie boarding, snorkeling and surfing.
