Saint Lucia is a comparatively small and rather mountainous island, which is not conducive to golf courses. However, there are two excellent golf courses: St. Lucia Golf and Country Club and Sandals St. Lucia La Toc Golf Resort. The layout of the island makes them both small but challenging.
- St Lucia Golf and Country Club – Consisting of 18 holes spread over a 6,836-yard layout, this course is bordered by colorful native flowers and overlooks the Caribbean. A recent addition to the scene, opening in just 2001, it has developed in leaps and bounds and held in high regard.
- Sandals St. Lucia La Toc Golf Resort – This course consists of 9 holes laid out over a relatively short 3,141 yards. The tight design creates for a challenging golf session that requires a level of deliberate planning not often seen. The plantation-style clubhouse is set amidst truly beautiful and lush greenery.
The resort can arrange for you to golf at the ones of your choice. Please note that green fees and transportation will be charged separately. The May and June window offers the best weather to visit Aruba, just warm enough and outside hurricane season.
